The idea I got when I made school examinations at the critical time after the university exam scores were announced, the biggest feature that distinguishes OSTİM Technical University from other universities is the opportunity to reinforce the theoretical courses in practice with the workplace experience course. While researching the departments of the university, I came across the Information Security Technology department, which I think is the profession of our time. It was the most logical option at a time when everything was geared towards technology. When I checked the academic staff, I preferred this department because I saw that the teachers are experienced and successful in their fields. In addition to the Information Security courses I studied at school, I had the opportunity to make many applications in the field of software. After you ask for something, the academic staff at the school helps as much as they can. For these reasons, I think that being at OSTİM Technical University is a great chance for everyone.

While making my university choices, I came across our university during my research. In line with the IT Security department itself and the opportunities it provides, I made perhaps the best decision of my life. I can feel that I am preparing for the post-university business life with the academic staff and course contents that are experts in their fields. Thanks to the lessons that were very productive even during the distance education period, I improved myself and learned how to improve myself. In addition, since I benefited from the double major program, I was able to contribute to the courses of my other department. I can see that the vocational courses I have taken will be very useful for me to be ready and equipped for the sector. Practical courses that do not remain in theory, and courses such as Entrepreneurship and Workplace Training that we take while preparing us for business life help us to “start your own business”.

The reason why I chose OSTİM Technical University; When I researched the school at the time of preference, it enables us to start working life 1-0 ahead of other schools by experiencing the courses we see theoretically with the Workplace Experience Course practically in the sector. I think that the departments that will come to the fore the most in the future and where the need for personnel will be the most are the departments related to Informatics, for this reason I preferred the Department of Information Security Technology. I was very satisfied with all the lecturers I took lessons in my department. At the same time, I had the opportunity to develop myself in the field of software by making many applications, since there was a software course among the courses of the department. The moment you enter OSTİM Technical University, you will feel like you have come home.
