Today, where industrialization and technology are developing rapidly, the use of electricity is increasing day by day, and there is almost no area where electricity is not used. In this context, the training of qualified technical personnel in electricity is of great importance in terms of the development of technology and the increase in the added value created for the economy.

The Electrical Program aims to train Electrical Technicians who are equipped to follow science and technology, have analytical thinking ability, can effectively use, interpret and analyze the information they have learned, respond to the expectations of the business world and industry, and have the ability to work at national and international level.

Associate Degree

The process of placing students in the program is carried out by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). It is carried out after the equivalence process of high school graduations of foreign students, as well as the fulfillment of the requirements within the scope of higher education and OSTİM Technical University legislation and other legislation in force. OSTİM Technical University establishes its own selection and placement system within the framework of current legislation when it deems necessary for foreign students.

Courses taken by students in previous undergraduate or associate degree programs following their registration; Valid and legal certification, the suitability and adequacy of the subject, scope and contents of the course to the program/course applied at OSTİM Technical University can be accepted as a result of the examination and approval by the Program, Department Board and Vocational School Executive Board.

In order for students to graduate, they must have completed 120 ECTS credits, successfully completed all the course loads in the program they are studying, and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

OSTİM Technical University Graduates,

From the first year of graduation, they can solve technical and professional problems in their working life, take part in a team, organize and present information with or without interdisciplinary issues, effectively explain their thoughts orally and in writing, and communicate well, national and / or international They can undertake engineering, research-development, business and managerial positions in companies. Having the diversity and depth of prerequisites required for successful postgraduate work and lifelong learning, they can conduct pioneering scientific research in electrical-electronic engineering or related disciplines, complete master's and doctoral studies, and advance academically in the country or abroad.
