The aim of the history course is not for students to learn theoretical or encyclopedic knowledge, but to establish a link between history and their field of expertise. It is also to enable him to see the problems of the age and the world he lives in from a wider perspective.
Identifying the main turning points in the history of civilization, revealing the place and contribution of Turkish-Islamic civilization in these turning points, XX. century Turkish modernization (political, military, art and technique), XX. It is aimed to transfer the projections, foundations or breaks before the century to the students by visualizing them as much as possible with technological possibilities. To ensure that the Turkish revolution, Kemalism thought and Atatürk's principles are learned by comparing them within the framework of old Turkish and world history.
History courses at Ostim Technical University are taught in the form of a comparative study of the general history of civilization - Turkish modernization and ultimately the Atatürk revolution. Our lessons are face-to-face and are based on the students' contribution to the lesson with projects, assignments and presentations.
