Program Qualifications

Graduate of the program shall,

  1. Based on his/her bachelor’s level qualifications, develop and deepen an expertise in one of the fields of management, production, marketing, accounting, finance or human resources.
  2. Explain the interaction of the field with other related disciplines.
  3. Have the skill to relay information about the field to business people and teammates.
  4. Have the ability to analytically and systematically analyze, interpret and evaluate the information about the field.
  5. Have the ability to interpret and analyze data by using the information he/she obtained about the field in his/her decisions, practices and behaviors; identify problems and propose solutions.
  6. Have the necessary leadership and management skills to achieve business goals effectively and efficiently.
  7. Be able to plan necessary activities such as establishing a new business, take risks to ensure the sustainability of the business, find resources, conduct market analysis and prepare business plans by gaining the entrepreneurship skill and using an innovative and creative mindset and conduct an independent study which requires field-specific expertise.  
  8. Take responsibility in line with project goals as a project coordinator or participant.
  9. Set the vision, goals and targets by creating multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams within an organization/institution and design and analyze a business on an organizational level, work effectively with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, take responsibility and take initiative in solving problems.
  10. Interpret the knowledge and skills he/she gained in a critical way; be open to innovation change and life-long learning.
  11. Relay his/her opinions and suggestions in line with the knowledge and skills he/she gained about the field to relevant persons in writing and orally; design research and offer proposals; prepare and present research reports; effectively use methodological information he/she gained in scientific research.
  12. Communicate with people who conduct studies in the field; effectively carry out the relationships of an organization/institution with its stakeholders and analyze its relationships.
  13. Communicate in writing and orally in at least one foreign language at the level of European Language Portfolio B2 General Level.  
  14. Use computer software, information and communication technologies on an advanced level which will be adequate to enter and analyze data in his/her field.  
  15. Act in accordance with the ethical values of the organization/institution, business and society.
  16. Develop problem-solving vision by using the case study method in business management and contribute in the field by producing original work.
  17. Follow and evaluate the change and development in the inter-disciplinary national and international dimensions of business management; have adequate awareness about the universality of social rights, social justice, quality and cultural values as well as environmental protection, occupational health and safety, societal responsibilities of business life and perceiving social transformation.
