COMPULSORY COURSES
DMP 101 DIGITAL MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
Within the scope of this course; digital marketing, digital advertising, search engine optimization, website management, social media, word of mouth marketing, email and sms marketing, content marketing, influencer marketing, user-generated content, etc. concepts are included. The course aims to equip students with the technical and strategic knowledge necessary to recognize digital marketing channels and develop marketing and advertising strategies in these channels.
DMP 103 INTRODUCTION TO NEW MEDIA
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the concepts of new media. The definition, features, similarities and differences of traditional communication will be discussed. After drawing a general framework of communication sciences (journalism, public relations and publicity, advertising), digital transformations of traditional fields will be examined. In addition, students will participate in current discussions with knowledge of the social, economic, legal, cultural and political effects of the new media. Within the scope of the course, individual / institutional uses of social media applications will be examined in detail and students will be supported to become content producers in these areas. The courses will be supported with the presentations of social media experts operating in the new media sector, and students will be introduced to the digital business world.
DMP 105 PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PUBLICITY POLICIES
The aim of this course is to provide students with; to teach the importance of policy making in terms of public relations, the features of a functional public relations policy and the basic steps of policy making process. Within the scope of this course; policy making in public relations, public relations and publicity problems in private, public and non-governmental organizations, etc. concepts are included.
DMP 107 VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN I
The aim of this course is a creative field that includes visual communication design, graphic design and digital media design. In this course, it is aimed to teach the basic principles of visual communication design and the use of the design process, Adobe Photoshop and Canva program for the sectoral purposes of digital media and marketing.
ISG 101 HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK
Basic concepts about Occupational Health and Safety (ISG). The main working areas of ergonomics. Work safety concept. Causes of occupational accidents, prevention models, calculation of costs, investigation and reporting. The concept of occupational disease, its types, prevention methods. Occupational safety methods in workshops and laboratories. Personal protectors and machine protectors. Fire and explosion prevention methods. Principles and objectives of first aid. ISG Legislation.
MAT 101 PROFESSIONAL MATH

MES 121 ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECT -I
Our students receive information such as business solutions, business establishment supports and incentives, R&D and design activities activities, project supports, in order to become entrepreneurs and project builders.
TUR 101 TURKISH LANGUAGE I
Definition of the language, social value of language; Characteristics of written and oral expression; Sentence knowledge; Speech disorders; written and oral expression; Effective reading and text analysis will be included during this course.
UHG 151 INTRODUCTION TO UNIVERSITY LIFE
It is a program that aims to adapt to the new environment of the university in a pleasant way, consisting of various activities that will be offered in addition to academic studies, in order for our students to adapt to university life. These activities will support students as an active individual with programs that can help students to achieve their goals and contribute to their personal development. The program, which is focused on socio-cultural activities, aims to create an awareness about intellectual curiosity, cultural sensitivity and taking responsibility, by giving you a weekly break, and to improve students’ vision as well as to educate them as a beneficial individual to the society and the world.
YAD 101 PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH I
The content of the course; To teach the basic grammar topics of English language (such as articles, tenses, imperatives, pronouns and conjunctions), common words (such as daily routines, animals, common verbs and transport), and introducing a friend and describing people appropriate to A1 level ) is designed to make them understand.
ATA 101 ATATURK’S PRINCIPLES AND REVOLUTION HISTORY I
This course will cover the topics of; The concept of revolution, the factors leading to Turkish revolution and the reasons of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Ottoman Empire in the rescue efforts, flows of ideas, World War I, Mustafa Kemal Anatolian transition and congresses, Turkey opening of the Grand National Assembly, the liberation war, foreign policy, Mudanya cease-fire, the Lausanne conference.
DMP 102 MEDIA MANAGEMENT
The aim of this course is to provide students with; understanding the economic structures of media institutions; to make sense of the economic relations of media institutions with state and economic institutions; to gain a perspective on media production processes and the phenomenon of monopolization in the media industry and the relationship between the media industry and globalization.
DMP 106 DIGITAL COPYWRITING
The rapid development of information and communication technologies and their use in every area of daily life made it necessary to master the language of the digital world. The digital content produced should always update itself in order to attract attention and keep it continuous. Digital texts should attract the attention of internet users in the first seconds and should have a reputational effect. Within the scope of this course, after digital content production processes are discussed in detail, it is aimed that students can produce creative, original and current digital content for their digital platforms.
DMP 108 VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN II
It is a creative space that includes visual communication design, graphic design and digital media design. In this course, it is aimed to teach the use of HTML and CSS software languages, Adobe Illustrator and Notepad ++ for the sectoral purposes of digital media and marketing in web design.
DMP 110 COMMUNICATION HISTORY

ISD 122 WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE
Students make observations and experience in the workplace one day of the week. Students take this course in business environment. The tasks and activities of the vocational candidates in this course should provide them with the opportunity to observe experienced superiors and workplace trainers on-the-job, to work individually with the students, even if they are limited. The activities carried out in the workplace experience course will provide candidates with various skills that will enable them to become an experienced employee. The students' progress in understanding the future profession and gaining the competencies constituting the profession will be evaluated by the university instructors who are in close cooperation with them and the application trainers and mentors who have gained experience in their work.
MES 122 ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECT- II
For our students to become entrepreneurs and makers, to prepare them to the real business life and the world this course will cover the topics of business plan preparation and scheduling, business plan analysis and business modeling, cost preparation, specification and specification, evaluation, invoicing, innovation-realization, commercialization, incorporation.

UHG 152 BUILDING OF THE FUTURE
This course, which is the continuation of the Introduction to University Life Course, aims to raise the competence of the student in subjects such as career planning, interview processes, image and communication and to train highly qualified people. In addition, the course aims to provide students with the knowledge of science, technique, industry, creative thinking, developments in R & D, rational and critical thinking, reasoning ability, generating rational solutions and evaluating future business opportunities through various seminars. This course contributes to the development of the basic sciences in our country, giving students the opportunity to make applied research, renewing the existing knowledge and ideas, enriching and educating the elements needed by the profession branches.

ATA 102 ATATURK’S PRINCIPLES AND REVOLUTION HISTORY II
This course will cover the topics of; The proclamation of the Republic and political, social and cultural reforms. Problems that Lausanne Peace Treaty could not be solved and their conclusions movements against the new order. Multiparty life experiments and results. Turkish Foreign Policy in the period of Atatürk. İnönü Period and the Second World War years, Turkey's transition to multi-party life during and after the Democratic Party.
DMP 201 BRAND MANAGEMENT
In the brand management course, it is aimed to equip students with the necessary strategic information about brand management by evaluating the brand concept more broadly, the difference between the brand and the product, brand awareness, brand addiction, brand value, brand personality, brand identity and digital branding.
DMP 203 E-COMMERCE
In the e-commerce course, it is aimed to equip students with the strategic information required in the management of e-market places by evaluating the concept of e-commerce more broadly, the difference between traditional marketing and digital marketing, awareness of the innovations brought by new media to marketing and digital branding.
DMP 205 DIGITAL CAMPAIGNS AND CONSUMPTION
The general aim of this course is to increase the students' skills in this subject by enabling them to learn the processes from the design phase to the finalization phase of preparing a digital campaign to be used in electronic environments with different content types. Also, addressing the issues for consumers, who are the target audience of the campaigns, will strengthen the interaction direction of the campaigns. Within the scope of the course; digital campaign process and planning, consumption culture and campaigns with different contents will be discussed in detail.
DMP 207 IT LAW
This course aims to teach students the basic concepts of information and information security, management, risk assessment, protection of IT assets, business continuity and disaster recovery. Cybercrime and the way it is committed is to gain knowledge and experience to ensure that the hardware and software security of information systems are taken quickly and effectively. To learn about IT Law, to evaluate principles and regulations both theoretically and practically.
DMP 209 PERSUASION AND PERCEPTION IN COMMUNICATION
With this course, students are understood that understanding and interpretation of messages within the individual's perception framework is influenced by social and cultural references as well as individual belief filters; To reveal that the reasons for the decisions taken and the behaviors put forward are rational as well as rational ways of thinking; by examining these within the framework of various persuasion theories, it is aimed to evaluate and interpret the resources' ability to influence / direct target audiences within the scope of advertising, public relations and marketing professions.
DMP 211 NEW MEDIA THEORIES
This course aims to change and develop students' perspective on the media by considering important new media theories.
ISU221 WORKPLACE APPLICATION-I
Within this course, students practice in the workplace one day of the week. Students apply this course in business environment. Candidates of the profession will have the opportunity to know the work environment and fully participate in what is happening at the workplace. The work to be carried out during the workplace application is planned according to the workplace before the beginning of the semester and by taking the opinions of the students and the application trainers who will guide them. Since each workplace's eco system will be different, the term plan is prepared after getting acquainted with the workplace's eco system, so that each student's weekly schedule may change.

ISE 200 WORKPLACE TRAINING
In the last semester of the program, all of the students will carry out practical training in a factory / production unit located in all provinces of Ankara or in Ankara in accordance with the predefined principles and principles that OSTIM Technical University deems appropriate. In addition, internship / on-the-job training will be carried out in a factory / production unit located in Ankara within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the OSTİM Technical University and the OSTİM Clusters within the framework of the development and cooperation. During this internship / on-the-job training, students will simultaneously take the “Project Management” course as internship / on-the-job training course. In this course, each student will be able to jointly identify the problem areas related to the Design, Production, Installation and Maintenance of various systems in the areas encountered in the factory / production unit where he / she is doing internship / on-the-job training, and jointly identify with the company the new generation creative solution proposals and will create a project idea, design it, develop it and reflect it on the field of application. This project will be evaluated in the performance of internship / on the job training.
